General change:
The many wars fought in 2023 and the Ebrian civil war had an impact on the Rheinbund, both economic and political. The economic impact is obvious; the political impact can be seen in the last election results (leading to the situation that minimally four parties were needed to form a coalition), a demissionary Chancellor who went against his own government), and the current relations between the Christiandemocrats on the one hand and the Sociodemocrats and Social-Liberals on the other hand (leading to a rift between those parties that will take a lot of time to heal).
The Rheinbund's economic position has a good outlook though, due to plans from the new government to simplify and reduce rules for business, and due to the recently developed bauxite deposits.

No change: The Rheinbund is a well-developed and heterogeneous country, known for its personal freedoms. However, the personal freedoms are dependent on where you go. The cities Fehrbellin, Scharmbeck, Würzwald, Cöllen, Weissenfels, Bad Hersfeld, Engelsheim and Grefrath are very liberal and the cities to party. On the other side of the freedom spectrum are the citizenry of Bramsfeld and the prince-bishopric of Heilbach, which are extremely religious parts of the Rheinbund.
Electricity, natural gas, water and internet are relatively expensive but extremely reliable. The power grid has a large overcapacity, and power outages hardly ever happen. Water management is a topic, and designed in such a way that water levels occurring with a chance of 1:10000 can be dealt with. On the minus side is, that traffic congestion can be an issue during rush hour, and that public transport in the countryside is not really good.

Change: The health care system has recovered from the poliomyelitis epidemic, and meanwhile almost all memberstates have made taking part in the vaccination campaigns compulsory. No change: Health care is at a very high level in the Rheinbund, with a big focus on prevention. Vaccines play a very large role in the Rheinbund, but there are about 4 million Rheinians who refuse vaccines out of religious reasons. There is no active vaccination campaign in Bramsfeld due to religious reaons; on the other hand, thirteen memberstates have compulsory vaccination programs.
